New Website

Hello, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Ryan Taylor, the business development manager at Inheritance legal services- very flash title for a not so flash guy. So, the more observant of you may have noticed that we have a new website (whoooo), which brings with it an opportunity for us to make information more easily accessible to you and with less effort. One of the new features of the website is a blog which, I will agree, we are a bit behind the times on but this has been because we have been so busy with helping our clients plan and manage their estate. The point of this blog will be to update you with key information you need to know about protecting your estate but explained (hopefully) in an easy to understand way. The responsibility of writing the blog has fallen to me to do in between shining the directors shoes and making the tea. Apparently ensuring the directors are watered is ‘business development’.

We like to offer ‘a fresh approach to legal services’ and this is reflected in the way we deal with our clients. We know our stuff, we are fully trained on estate planning and we believe our customer service is second to none, but at the same time this doesn’t mean we need to be stuffy or use complicated language to explain our point. Estate planning is not supposed to be morbid or just talking about death, it is about planning what happens to all of your hard earned assets during your life and where they go after.
As this is a new website (sadly it doesn’t have a nice ‘new’ smell, like fresh paint or plastic packaging), I thought I would point out some key features you may want to note:

– Mobile friendly
This is the way all websites are going as although it may look slightly different accessing our website on your mobile phone, it should make it easier to navigate than trying to look at the desktop version (on your phone)

– Live chat
This offers you the opportunity to ask us questions through our website. An advisor will be waiting for you to click the chat box in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and ask any questions you have. This is really helpful as it means you do not actually need to pick up the phone to talk to us. If an advisor is not available at the time, you can leave a message and our team will get back to you ASAP.

– Information on our local offices
This allows you to find out all of the information where your local Inheritance legal services office, is. You can also view it on a map. However, just because these are where our offices are based, we can and do travel all over the country to conduct our free no obligation appointments.

– Charities
We are working with more charities now as we not only want to give something back from the company, but also want to offer anyone who does not have a preferred charity to leave assets to, some options of who we work with.

– Testimonials
Obviously you want to make sure we are a good company, right? Well all of our testimonials are of course real and we have well over a thousand hand filled in feedback forms at our Cambridge head office for you to view in a folder at anytime (during work hours- we don’t really want to  be doing this at 3am) and see the great feedback we get.

Under the testimonials section you will also see how we are approved by trading standards, who after us volunteering for scheme (due to how confident we are in our customer service and satisfaction) keep a close eye on us. You can also see details of how we are also approved by the Norfolk ‘trusted trader’ scheme.
I would recommend you have a play with the new website as the guy who built it is very proud of it, so if you have any feedback, please let us know. Maybe you could try out the new web chat feature to do this?

A new blog will appear very soon, covering individual aspects of estate planning and our company news, but for now I have to go and do some ‘business development’. Yes, that means I am going to put the kettle on for the boss.
