Our costs

We have spent over 15 year’s working on a clear and transparent method of offering a ‘low cost, fixed fee’ service. You will not see us offering special offers (such as you see on many social media pages), as we do not feel this is fair for our client’s who have paid full price! Our product and service is a fair reflection of the price we charge.

How much does a Will cost?

For a standard Will we charge £199 for an individual, or £299 for ‘Mirror Wills’ (one will each for a couple). All of our costs are transparent, without hidden extras, and so this price includes VAT.

What is included in the price?

When searching for a will writer, it is absolutely vital you find out what is included in the cost! This will ensure you are not lead into believing you are paying one price, but then are required to pay extra fees at the end. All of our wills are priced to include everything to make it a legal Will.

Why are you different to ‘online’ Will Writers?

There are many ways we are different to online Will Writers. The main one being, that we have shops on the High Street located around East Anglia, and that we meet with you face to face. This means you have the reassurance of knowing who you are dealing with and can ask our experts questions! You will not receive any advice from online Will Writers. Here are a few other things to keep in mind, if you’re considering using an online Will Writer:

  • Do they have any insurance? This is vital to give you additional protection. We are fully insured.
  • How can they spot potential problems with how your Will is setup? Many companies online produce a Will based on what you tell them to, so they are reliant on you knowing what your Will needs… not necessarily what is legally allowed or worded correctly.
  • Planning to leave someone out of a Will? What steps are they following to ensure your wishes are followed?
  • What organisations are they a member of and who are they trained by? We are members of the Society of Will Writers and follow their strict code of conduct.
  • What customer service do they offer? And can you contact them easily, without complicated automated phone systems, designed to put you off calling. We are always on hand to answer any questions you have!
  • Do they offer advice as part of their service? As mentioned previously, we offer free advice to all our clients and are happy to answer any questions you may have about planning your estate.

Overall, you have spent your life working hard for what you have, so it’s important your choose a company you can trust to write your Will correctly. Remember, once your family find out a Will has failed, it is too late.

Why can’t I just make a Will myself?

You can. However, did you know that over 40,000 families a year suffer from prolonged probate as a result of DIY Wills? This could cause a lot of issues, including the delay on the sale of a property from the deceased’s estate for example. The Will must also have the correct legal wording, without irregular wording which could be interpreted in a different way and cause issues. This is why it is important to use a professional company to write your Will correctly.
